That Feeling When Costs Spiral Out of Control

There’s nothing like that sick feeling when the cost of a project or ad campaign spirals out of control.

It happens all the time in business, and in construction.

Even when people decide to use recycled materials, things can still get out of hand.

A couple in Denver recently started building a 4,000 square foot home by using 9 used shipping containers.

They only cost $2,200 to start.

The rest of the build before landscaping cost over $500,000.

They say they are happy with their home.

Not sure if they’re trying to downplay how sick they feel over spending that much or if they’re truly happy.

You can get the same feeling sometimes when you look at the financials of your biz.
