There seems to be a certain amount of slack the market seems to give companies marketing their product. We all know that they are going to claim that their product is particularly awesome. And we expect them to live up to at least most of their claims. Well, an American man is taking things quite literal and is suing Anheuser-Busch because their Leffe Beer isn't made by Monks. Interesting. I'm all for truth in advertising, as it ensures customer satisfaction. In fact, I've done an entire podcast on how to keep your product congruent so your customers don't suffer a post-purchase hangover: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-the-russian-prince-rule-your-product-royally-with-an-iron-fist/ Here's to happy customers, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

There's S-M-A-R-T then there's S-M-R-T smart. Just like there's so drunk you text the wrong person, and then there's so drunk you have a text argument with yourself. Yup - a 29 year old man from Dundee actually did this. I mean, we all have our good days and our bad days. But we've all run into a bad customer from time to time, haven't we? You know - the person who you make no money off of, and yet figures your world should revolve around him. Well, I recommend firing bad customers, and I cover why in this podcast: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-when-firing-your-customers-turns-profitable/ Here's to improving morale and the bottom line, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

Desperation has finally set in. Inmates have been receiving photos soaked in a certain drug. Officials in a Virginian jail picked up on a new fad where inmates began chewing on photos and quickly discovered what was really going on. This has led to a ban on incoming photos for prisoners. Gotta give them credit for ingenious delivery. They took something common, added a unique twist to it and cashed in. Kinda like in biz - you can use basic ads that get you nowhere. Or you can get a few unique tricks that make all the difference in the world when it comes to cashing in. http://bizdevshots.com/solution/ Here's to thinking outside the box, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com
