Nearly every day we are reminded that we need to work on and improve our weaknesses. Whether it's a spouse, friend, family member, customers, clients or the latest self-help guru, we are constantly bombarded by messages telling us we need to be better. But what if you didn't have to be better? What if you could just cover over a weakness in such a way that you didn't HAVE to do the work to change it? What if you could even turn your weakness into a strength or competitive advantage? Well, if that sounds good to you, you'll want to listen to our latest podcast: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-business-surgery-removing-weakness-to-save-your-strengths/ You can also listen to it on iTunes here! https://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/biz-dev-shots.com-podcast/id1077134936

The USA and Canada have shared a border for years. And travel between both countries has been relatively painless. But now they are working on making it even easier to cross the border. In fact, Justin Trudeau intends to endorse a pre-clearance experiment that would allow people to clear customs at train stations, bus stations and off highways the same way they already can at several Canadian airports. Sounds good to me. Who really wants to wait in line? Nobody likes waiting. Not for borders. Not for lineups. Not for anything. It's one thing to claim that you can buy homes with no money down, stuff a renter in them and then retire as checks arrive like clockwork. Once you go to put it into action, you realize there are a lot of missing details that make the difference between making and losing money. Don't fall for general pie-in-the-sky m...

We've all heard "horror stories" about bad mortgages. Countless articles have been written and movies made about the whole sub-prime mortgage meltdown. There's nothing quite as bad as owing more than your supposed "asset" is worth. Or just losing money in general. This sort of thing can have you go broke in no time flat. I read this a few minutes ago: "Quicken Loans ad claims that it can arrange a mortgage loan in just eight minutes. Ya, you can get it setup in a few minutes, but you can go broke doing it. Get started fast WITHOUT losing your shirt: http://bizdevshots.com/solution/ Here's to getting buying customers without the expensive learning curve, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetM...
