It's a question that people everywhere are wrestling with. Do we sit it out and park our money on the sidelines or do we spend it like drunken sailors on shore leave? It seems the economies around the world are hanging by a thread, which could cause international ripples that in turn affect other countries and their economies. Seems a bit depressing. But I don't want to depress you with doom and gloom. In fact, the sun is shining here on the "Wet Coast" and I want to offer you a little ray of sunshine. Like a little hack I covered in a podcast I did a little while ago that can help you crank up your profit margins RIGHT NOW. No heated negotiations or arm-twisting necessary. You can check it out here: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-price-anchoring-how-to-secretly-train-a-customer-to-willingly-spend-more/ Here's to profiting and prospering even if the world around you is falling apart, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossIn...

There's S-M-A-R-T then there's S-M-R-T smart. Just like there's so drunk you text the wrong person, and then there's so drunk you have a text argument with yourself. Yup - a 29 year old man from Dundee actually did this. I mean, we all have our good days and our bad days. But we've all run into a bad customer from time to time, haven't we? You know - the person who you make no money off of, and yet figures your world should revolve around him. Well, I recommend firing bad customers, and I cover why in this podcast: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-when-firing-your-customers-turns-profitable/ Here's to improving morale and the bottom line, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

From my project management experience, I can tell you that the more you communicate effectively, the fewer problems you will run into. Whether it's managing customer expectations, explaining things to an employee or pricing things I found the people who were able to consistently cover their bases were the ones who were the best communicators. And it's with this in mind that I came up with this podcast on setting effective goals: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-why-your-goals-and-resolutions-will-cripple-you/ I felt that there was some VITAL info that was being left out by your run-of-the-mill goal setting gurus. And I want you to have the best info possible when it comes to running your biz, so I decided to share it. Here's to getting the whole story before making biz-altering decisions, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

Life in biz ain't always easy. There are any number of challenges you can face on any given day. Increased competition, increased cost of materials, employee problems and so on. But one problem shouldn't be getting your message in front of the right kind of buyer. Learn from the criminals behind bars who made the mistake of selling fake drugs to fake buyers - it doesn't end well. Just like selling your fake drugs to an undercover cop doesn't end well (as a 31 woman in Helena found out), putting your products in front of uninterested prospects often turns out to be a bad decision in the end as well. Speaking of bad ideas - in this podcast, I cover a particularly good one: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-assassinating-a-bad-business-idea/ Here's to having a game-plan that has been thought through and tested, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

If you want to get your point across, you can always burn an effigy of someone you don't like. Gets your message across for sure - may be a little aggressive though. Kind of like in Mexico where they burned effigies of Donald Trump. Maybe they didn't like his idea of setting up a huge wall to keep illegal immigrants out. Maybe it was a joke gone wrong. Maybe it was just a publicity stunt. Hard to say. But, like him or not, Trump knows how to own the media. I ran over just a few of the points why I think he's a political force to be taken seriously and how you can add some of his tricks to your biz promotions: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-trump-for-president-how-to-dominate-the-competition/ Here's to dominating the competition, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

From time to time, I come across crazy ideas. Biz ideas that were doomed from the start. Advertising that makes you wonder how anyone could think it was a good idea. And most of the time, I just brush it off. But not today. Today in our latest podcast, I'm systematically "Assassinating a Bad Business Idea." I'm all for charity, but when it comes to biz you've gotta be about the cashflow. You can hear my rant on one of the worst biz ideas I've come across here: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-assassinating-a-bad-business-idea/ Here's to actually thinking through you biz ideas before sticking your head in a noose, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

A flight attendant for Jet Blue was caught trying to sneak a suitcase full of cocaine through a Los Angeles airport. Her luggage had over 70lbs of cocaine in them after she had been randomly selected for screening. Rather than taking the fall, the former Jamaican beauty queen and college track athlete with a history of drug smuggling kicked off her heels and ran down an upward moving escalator before running out of the terminal and crossed the country to New York. She ended up turning herself in to the authorities and claimed that "she might not have known what was in her luggage." Suuuuuure. Because anyone who is innocent and randomly selected for screening would logically kick off their heels and make a break for it. Rather than smuggling to make money, why not build your online biz? At least you won't have to live your life in fear: http://bossinternetmarketing.com/how-to-get-an-online-paycheck-doing-what-you-love-email/ ...

A bar in Fresno caused a bit of a stir when they kicked out a couple of customers. Apparently, the bar staff got a bit yelly as they told a couple of women that in order to sing karaoke, they had to buy some drinks. And then they proceeded to throw them out. The women claim that they had already bought drinks, and that they were only being hassled because they were black. Turns out the women were actually attorneys for the American Civil Liberties Union. Whoops. They completely missed the point on my podcast "When Firing Customers Turns Profitable." The idea is to fire abusive, entitled, time-sucking, low-margin customers - not kick out seemingly happy paying customers. Here's the link to get the straight goods on firing customers: http://bizdevshots.com/podcast-when-firing-your-customers-turns-profitable/ Here's to firing customers to improve your bottom line - not to further a racist agenda, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podca...

There's all kinds of cool stuff people spend their money on. From the cliche diamonds and cars, to weird exotic pets, people spend money on the strangest stuff. And if you're the dictator of a 3rd World country - or even the leader of a free one - you have seemingly endless amounts of money to spend. Take even the conservative nation of Canada: Premier Justin Trudeau took his family on a vacation in a private jet. No big deal you say? True, it sounds typical. But it turns out he spent over $50k just to have a private jet sit on the tarmack waiting for them in case they wanted to use it. Not bad when you have a seemingly bottom-less supply of taxpayer money. If you don't have a limitless supply of moolah, check our guides on how to grow your online biz: http://bizdevshots.com/solution/ Here's to building your biz so you can buy what you want, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com

How do you find the car buying experience? If you're like most people surveyed, they don't really like it. Major worries include: -paying too much for the car -buying a car that will need too many repairs -not knowing the mechanical condition before buying the car For a lot of people, it's a stressful time. Unless you have someone who knows all about this sort of thing helping you out. Think of our business advertising solutions as just that - we're your "people on the inside" directing you so you don't waste your $$$$: http://bizdevshots.com/solution/ Here's to being properly informed BEFORE you make a buying decision, Matt Hardy BizDevShots Podcast BossInternetMarketing.com
